Coffee..

On the evolution of coffee drinking, by Malcolm Gladwell (he of The Tipping Point and Blink). I particularly like this line about Trotsky:
Give a man enough coffee and he's capable of anything.

  1. I am a big fan of Balzac. I think he wrote some obscure work where he attributes to coffee sociological virtues.

It is less frivolous than some may think. We are the result of the chemistry of our brain. A man on coffee (or other drug) is not the same man.

Coffee makes me a bit insane.
